This piece is one of the few segments where you will see Andrea on camera. Shot back in 1994 at Yuengling Brewery in Pottstown, PA by John Rex for the WITF series XYZ, eXamine Your Zipcode. The series was created by Andrea and Ellyne Lonergan and Ken Stone and ran on WITF for four years.

We create programs that entertain, educate, motivate and involve each viewer as a participant in the lives and stories of each subject. NLF produces educational, promotional and fundraising videos for non-profit organizations and businesses that want to connect with a larger audience in a more personal way.  Our goal is to INFORM AND TO INSPIRE ACTION AND PARTICIPATION. We produce video stories for television broadcast, event projection, web and DVD distribution.

Andrea B. Campbell

Andrea Campbell is an Emmy award-winning director, producer, editor and videographer. Natural Light Films, Inc., established by Andrea in 1999, specializes in documentary and personal profiles for broadcast and internet.

 

For over 18 years, NLF has been using video to build community by promoting acceptance and understanding. The belief that empathy follows familiarity guides her work.

 

NLF produces feature films, shorts films and very short films.

 

Andrea has filmed all over the globe. A curiosity about cultures, lifestyles, humanity and nature has led to filming projects in India, Indonesia, Israel, Ethiopia, Kenya, Bukina Fasso, Niger, Tanzania, Uganda, Spain, UK, Nicaragua, Honduras and the Dominican Republic and across the US.

 

NLF is also adept and experienced at capturing the beauty and emotion of live performance, including poetry, theater, and music.

 

Andrea's first fiction film, Fake Clouds, premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in 2003.

The Tsunami's Wake: Healing from Trauma - (documentary) 2006-2007 - For Mennonite Central Committee, MCC This documentary introduces you to people who are struggling to recover from the tragic aftermath of the Tsunami that struck Indonesian and coastal areas of India in December of 2004. This film is about healing and what we can do to help rebuild lives and communities. In December 2006 and January 2007, on the two year anniversary of the deadly tsunami. Andrea Campbell of Natural Light Films, Inc. traveled to Indonesia, and costal India to shoot this documentary for Mennonite Central Committee and Director, Dirk Eitzen.

 

Circle of Care: The Arts in Medicine, 2006 - Documentary including 30 min. program and 1 hour live studio audience and panel discussion. A WHYY original documentary and series of short segments, visits area hospitals, rehabilitation centers and adult residential communities to intimately witness the process of expressing and communicating through music, dance, painting, theater and poetry.
